This is a pattern I copied from someone that had photocopied it from somewhere else -- you know how it goes. There were a few notations on the pattern as some people tend to do, so I had to try and clean those out. It's a relatively simple pattern, and you can adjust size by using different weights of yarn and appropriate needle sizes.

on either a t-shirt and on a black tote, which could make a cool knitting project bag!
So at our last guild meeting, many members brought in their Stash-Busting hats (see my entry of 2014-01-23). When the ladies took them down to one of our charities, they said they have enough hats, but they really need some slippers. Apparently, at some of the shelters, they can't be barefoot or wear shoes in their facilities, so they require slippers.
Here's a hat I'm knitting with my friend, Luke. He's much further than I am but I'm not letting that bother me. I really like the interior texture; it may become the outside once the hat is finished. The yarn is from Mountain Meadows mill, here in Wyoming.
Hello Men! I hope you've been having a good weekend. I am, and part of
reason for that is that I found the time to finish what I've been working on.
Celebrating my 42nd birthday today.
Here is my gift:
a Men's Top down drop sleeve cardigan. Size 38, gauge 5x6/inch.
This is just my starting point, I increased the cast on stitches to 109. Needed the extra stitch to center the 4x1 rib pattern I am using. There will be more tweeks to come as I reconsider button placement, collar options and pockets.
Just finished my new sweater. It's an older pattern, which I prefer. Now for some socks!!!
I finally figured out how to work the card reader and memory card for my camera. [A greatly appreciated gift from Quinton, as you may recall.]
I made these worsted weight longjohns in the mid 1980's. They are super warm and perfect for frigid winters...like this one ! The gradually shaped legs are joined at the crotch, then the hips are decreased at the center front and back to the ribbed waistband.
I am looking to buy a large quantity of fluffy soft, bulky yarn for a
duvet cover I am planning on knitting. I found Yarn-Paradise online and they
have a massive collection. Their prices are amazingly low as are their
shipping prices. Has anyone ever bought from them?
