OK, I have tried three times to post this so I hope it goes through this time. I have never sent a photo of my knitting (for good reason) until now as I have always been in such awe of the work that you all do. However, my neighbors just had their first baby two weeks ago and during the summer months I used one of Louis' prayer shawl patterns to whip up a baby blanket.
my second cushion is finished
Good Morning Knitting Bro's,
I have 475 yards of sock yarn that I got at the Colorado retreat that I think would make a nice shawl. Does anyone know of a pattern that would work with? It's for my 85yo mom and she just wants a shawl instead of a shrug.
Well today I finished color affection. Here are a couple of pictures before washing and blocking but you'll get the idea of the finished item. My next project is going to be Stephen West's Chadwick. Hope you're all having a great weekend. It is a glorious fall day in St. Louis. Happy Knitting, JRob
I am knitting in the round a mohawk beanie for my friend, who's going
through chemo, with her favorite football team's logo (GBPackers) on both
I am fairly good at intarsia on a flat (back and forth) piece. But as this is a beanie for her soon to be bald head, I must put it together in the round.
Is anyone going to be at Rhinebeck this year? And if so, are there any impromptu men's knit nights planned for the weekend?
Just finished a prayer shawl using the Dragon Scale pattern, which was a new stitch for me. Not sure which side is the "right side" as they both look interesting and give the fabric a nice texture.
