I finished the dog toy!

I'm trying out a scarf design of my own. I'm sure I'll finish it and a million people will have seen a million patterns just like it, but to me, I made it up.

I love my 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders book, and the projects in it seem like they'd be way fun.

I don't get the name of this scarf, so i am hereby changing it to Mint Chocolate Mistake Rib Scarf. The "blocking" I did definitely tamed the fringe down and softenend this wool up quite a bit.

Due to business and absent-mindedness (but mainly absent-mindedness), this post is finally going up much later than I'd intended. Nevertheless!!!

Finally finished the "Mermaid Scarf," which is just a scarf knit in Mistake Rib pattern with knitted fringe.

Thanx to scubasinger who gave me the idea of using my anguished posts about the squirrel as wrapping paper FOR the squirrel.

Despite having ruined the surprise of the squirrel, I have managed to keep the COMPLETELY finished product hidden. Here it is for all your eyes only.
