The LYS (Quilted Hearts) in Gainesville, GA is closing. It's not too far from Atlanta - about 50 miles. Starting tomorrow all stock is 25% off. I need more stash - lol.

I went to the North Carolina Mountains (Robbinsville, N.C.) for the weekend. Stopped by the LYS in Murphy, N.C. - Yarn Circle (www.yarncircle.com). Bought way too much yarn goodness. This shop is near the John C. Campbell Folk School (www.folkschool.com). Has wonderful selection of natural fibers, spinning supplys, etc. It is worth the trip if anyone is in the area. Later Guys.

I’m thinking of knitting a lightweight sweater. Something for cool spring evening, windy day at beach, etc. Any suggestions for pattern, yarn type, etc. Thanks guys.

I finished a pair of socks for my wife. They are in a 30% wool, 20% silk, 50% acrylic blend. My gauge must have been off - a little large for her. Any way to shrink?

Just wanted to say hello. Been knitting for a couple of years now. Just finished my 2nd pair of socks. Looking for a new project and found you guys. Nice to see other males like to knit. Never seen another guy in my local shop - lol.
I started a couple years ago when my daughter (12) wanted to learn. My wife does not know how to thread a needle, so it was up to me to learn so I could teach her.
I have always like to make things. I kind knitting very relaxing. Take Care
