Carrot Cake Hat

I call it this because the colors reminded me of carrot cake with cream cheese icing!

Irish Hiking Scarf

Just finished the Irish Hiking Scarf. I made one previously in red for the Red Scarf Project, but decided to see what it looked like in more of an Aran color.

Is anyone planning to knit Christmas stockings for friends/family or other loved ones? I found this great collection of patterns on the Internet.

Two-at-a-time Socks

I have looked at a few books that address the subject of knitting socks two at a time. Has anyone read any of these and can anyone make a recommendation as to the best one?

When knitting in the round and changing colors, is there any way to avoid the "jog" when switching to the new color?

Scarves for Charity

Here are some scarves I've been working on for my charity bin. All patterns are from the knitting pattern central website. The middle one has a really nice pattern that doesn't show up too well in the picture, but it looks more complicated than it was (otherwise I couldn't have done it!)

Happy Fourth of July Dishcloths

I can't seem to move beyond making dishcloths. Most of my friends and relatives want one or two, so I keep cranking them out. I stumbled across some patriotic yarn, so I made a couple of variations of cloths for the upcoming holiday. I've been invited to a Fourth of July BBQ so one of these creations will be going along with me as a gift for the host, as soon as I can figure out which one I want to part with.

Yet Another Mario Scarf

Here is a scarf I recently completed using Mario's pattern. The yarn is Lion Brand Homespun in Grape. I used size 15 needles and the whole scarf took only half a skein. I'm currently working on another one with the same type of yarn but the color is called Waterfall. The stitch patten and the color combination make the scarf look like a waterfall! Stay tuned for pics.
