We were on vacation last week and, while I didn't get a lot of knitting done, I did manage to get a pumpkin hat done for my daughter:

First, I should probably admit I'm entirely a self-taught knitter. I've never taken a knitting class nor been taught by anyone else.

I've had this project in my vehicle, working on it for months (since January)...

Finished it!

I'll admit from the get-go, I'm an instant gratification sort of guy.
