Just finished is Hanami Stole by Melanie Gibbons for the 60th birthday of one of my friends. The yarn is laceweight merino/cashmere from ColourMart UK and was knitted on a 3.25mm circular needle.

A LYS is having a 30% off all yarns and I couldn't go past these beauties. Colours are bright red, light green, dark olive, dark grey and a greyish brown.

Just received the most delicious laceweight linen yarn from Linnet in Japan.
Meadowsweet is the palest yellowish green, and Delave is a silvery bluish green.

"Wild Tea Cosies" by Loani Prior was released here (Australia) recently with 24 fabulous patterns, I want to knit them all. The cover photo looks like something Carmen Miranda might wear.

An extra entry as the photo of these didn't attach yesterday.

Two pairs of recently finished socks, Twisted Stitch pattern from The Knitting Man(ual) and a pair of generic socks.

In Marianne Kinzel's First Book of Modern Lace Knitting, I've seen a couple of patterns that interest me but I would knit them in laceweight wool, not cotton.

A beautifully soft Australian cashmere, the pattern is Bramble Leaf insertion from a scarf in Victorian Lace Today by Jane Sowerby. My photo doesn't do justice to the beautiful colours.

A quick scarf in garter stitch for a raffle. The yarn is Cleckheaton Bamboo in pastel pink/apricot/etc on 3.5mm needles.

I was doing a three needle bind off on the shoulders of my knit-in-the-round Fair Isle sweater when I realised I'd made a mistake about 4"(10cm) down.
