This scarf is a free pattern on Ravelry. The yarn is Shiloh Silky Wool and is the softest silkiest wool I've ever used.

These mitts remind me of the ones worn by Steptoe in one of those old BBC series.

This is the third or fourth pair of this pattern I've knitted, it is simple to memorise and easy enough to knit at the regular pub knitting group I meet up with.

This scarf, a free Ravelry pattern, is knit in Glenora 2ply merino laceweight wool which I bought at last year's open day at the local Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild.

My partner has just finished the first section of the Unst Lace Shawl, a 38 row with 10 repeats pattern in cobweb cashmere knitted on 2.25mm.

This is yet another pair of the twisted stitch socks from The Knitting (Man)ual, this pattern has become a favourite of mine.

Just finished is a pair of socks knit with Ewa's Sockenwolle.

I've based this scarf on Muir Shawl by by Rosemary Hill in Knitty Fall 2007by taking a section of the 'peaks' and adding a garter stitch border.

My sanity survived the Ordeal by Nupps and Evelyn A Clark's Swallowtail shawl is finished.

In all my years of knitting I have never encountered a stitch as hard to do as P5tog (purl 5 together).
