The good news is that I'm FLYING through the first sleeve on my father's long unfinished sweater ( modified drop shoulder (shaped sleeve cap) Kaffee Fasset inspired random stripe sweater...

Because when it's worn, it looks a bit like a molar...
I'm going to make a white one for my dentist, and one for her baby...

the two hats made from remnants steeked off the oversized panel of Dad's sweater.

It was raining yesterday, so I thought what a wonderful excuse to work on my sweater (Cable Guy from Son of a Stitch and Bitch).

I've decided to take a wee break and do the "cableguy" sweater from "Son Of Stitch and Bitch".

None of my files are attaching to my blog entries....it looks like they do, but when I save them...nothing shows up on the finished entry. HOLP! HOLP! (says the luddite).

From the remnant 5 inch strip cut off the edge of Dad's sweater..

Done on the Janome Sewist 521.
hand baste-backstitched with fingerling wool singles
short straight-stitched over basting
short straight-stitched half stitch away from cutting line

I'm doing the shaping on the sewing machine: neck and shoulder shaping, and a v neck zip cardi.
