The Scrabble Bag was a quick knit but an enjoyable one. In addition to the cable fun, is the i-cord. It was much easier to make than I thought it would be and I think it turned out pretty well. The cabling is on both sides. I think I will make another one using some entrelac stitching and put a Scrabble tile on each side.

I am looking for a pattern for a Celtic knot to put on the sides of another Scrabble bag that I am knitting in the round. The bag is 40 stitches wide using an acrylic/wool blend yarn that is 6 sts/inch on US5 (3.75mm) circular needles. It would like the knot to be about 2" x 2". I have looked online and in a book, but can't really find one I like that is self-contained.

Has anyone ever made the sweater called Ridgeway Lite from Cabin Fever? It's seamless and knit in the round. I found a blog that featured it and I like the look of it. But, before I spend the money on it, I was wondering if any of you guys have made it? Thanks.

I had some leftover Peruvian Wool roving yarn so I thought I would make something practical. Nothing special, just something for my hands to do. I didn't block it simply because it's going to live in a box and used only once a week.

I like that an astronaut took knitting needles as part of his personal "crew preference". Here's a bit of physics that is a bit different from the physics of yarn. Just a fun thing to think about.

I am working on a shrug and I am doing the sleeves without a seam by knitting with circular needles. I am just about ready to switch from knitting in a circle to going back and forth to create the center portion of the shrug.

Cold weather brings out the best in wool, don't you think? It was a beautiful, sunny 30-degree day here in Chicagoland. The critters in the forest that were foraging for food, stopped and applauded my knitting prowess! LOL.

Hi guys,
I have searched online for a shrug patterns in all the free places and even the pay sides of those same sites. From what I can see, they patterns would be too difficult for me, or not exactly what I wanted. I'd almost need someone to sit next to me and mentor me through the project.

I had a lot of fun making this. I have a friend who bought a new Kindle Fire but didn't get a case for it. So, I thought I'd make one for him. I used Peruvian Highland Wool, 4.5-5 sts per inch. I didn't take a picture of it before I sewed the bottom shut and blocked it, but it really did look like a sock, thus the name.

I would like to begin making socks using circular needles. I know that DPN patterns can be adapted, but does anyone know of any patterns out there written specifically for circular needles that a novice might be able to understand? I appreciate it.
