I have always tried to knit a pair of socks every month besides my other knitting. However, they have become my favourite thing to do lately.

I knit this for my nephew, Chris, when I was in Mexico, but washed and blocked it here in Canada before giving it to him. I used Shetland wool from Jamieson and Smith in Lerwick and 3.25mm needles.

I try to do a pair of socks every month and I actually made these three pairs in one month. They are for my two nieces and my nephew. I used my favourite sock yarn - Kroy, and 2.25mm needles.

Just finished a little tablecloth for my breakfast table. I used Marianne Kinzel's "EnglishCrystal". No. 6 cotton and 3.25 needles.

I mentioned that I was knitting a shawl while I had guests from Canada.

The brown sweater was knit with Jamieson and Smith Sheland DK (discontinued) on 4mm needles. I have no idea why I tacked down the neckband with white wool!!

I did the Traveling Woman Shawl in The Fleece Artist's Trail Socks. It was a lot of fun and really quick. I blocked it into a triangular shape.

I made this sweater for my sister. I used Jamieson and Smith 2 ply Jumper Weight and 3.25 mm needles. The colour is Thistle and is much prettier than the pictures show.

I knit a sweater for my friend Miguel while I was in Mexico but just blocked it a couple of days ago.

Is someone able to direct me to a site that gives you an estimation of how much yarn one needs to knit a sweater.
