What a great time we had at the first Southeast Retreat! I was a little scared of having it at the Methodist Camp but they were very accommodating and welcoming. And of course the other knitters were fantastic guys. Randy did a great job organizing the event.
I think someone may have posted this already but in case I ran into it elsewhere I thought I'd pass it along here. If you're flying in the USA on anything besides a broom or a strong cup of coffee, be sure to have a printed copy of the TSA's official webpage on knitting needles in your carry-on bag. I've not had to use it yet but I have it on me every time I fly.
I just got home from my first retreat. Wow! What a great time and a great bunch of guys! I can't wait until the southeast retreat now. :-D
I woke up this morning and found this done to the monkey I had knitted. I think my boyfriend has finally caught up with me in watching Dr Who episodes. haha.
Okay. I did it. I bought some Jade Sapphire cashmere and am starting my first lace project.
I did it again. I just started a hat and got my stitches twisted when I joined into the round. Anyone want a mobius made in 2x2 ribbing?
I just finished the sweater for my great-neice. (That makes me feel so old!) I did two cardigans with cables for her unborn sister and figured big sis would feel left out.
