I know, this is a knitting forum, but like Melbcub, I wanted to share a couple pictures of some other works in progress.

Hello all! It feels like forever since I've posted anything here. Knitting has been put on the back burner lately, as I have been super busy with my new job.

I finally finished the Barbara McIntire square for my afghan.

Sorry for the bad lighting, but just wanted to snap a few pics of 2 of the squares I have done for my Great American Aran Afghan.

so I'm a little disappointed with how my second GAAA square WAS working up (I say WAS because I've ditched it for now to start a different square).

one square down, nineteen more to go! I finished the Dagmara Berztiss square in my GAAA project about 10 minutes ago. I would estimate that I spent about 5 hours knitting this square.

I stopped by my LYS (Fiberphilia in Orono, Maine) to pick out yarn to start my Great American Aran Afghan. I went in with my heart (and mind) set on Cascade 220 in natural.

well... it's been ordered. The Great American Aran Afghan book should be arriving around the 18th of this month. Now I just have to decide what yarn to use, and what color to do it in.

So here's just a few quick pictures (with my crappy built in webcam) of my QAL shawl as soon as it came off the needles.

Finally, after approximately 5 months on knitting hiatus, my Queen Anne's Lace shawl is off the needles and ready to be blocked.
