I just remembered yesterday that this is going on this weekend. I'm about to hop on the motorcycle and ride up there.

So a few weeks ago a reporter from the Denver Post emailed me asking for an interview for an article she was writing about men and crafting.

After we found our little Kenneth, a friend of mine's chihuahua passed away. He and his wife had bought an entire wardrobe of sweaters, t-shirts, parkas, rain coat, bath robe, etc.

I keep going back to this pattern and just noticed that there's a project in need of volunteers through June 9th in conjunction with Sock Summit 2009 in Portland Oregon.

So here's my second square for the Jason blanket. I might have enough left for a third square although I'm not sure. This might be it for me. Now I get to mail them off!!!

First off, I just want to say that I'm honored to be a part of this project and a part of this group. And thanks to MMario for his thoughts in his previous post.

Just thought I'd pass along an option for knitting squares to meet the 8" x 8" requirement for the Jason Blanket.

So to go along with the "barn raising" baby quilt, I've done this sweater/cap set for the baby - due in June. The mother was my closest friend while in the Peace Corps in Nepal.

So I'm blocking the baby blanket and have decided to try to add lining to the back.

So I've finished off the 20 squares for my "Barn Raising" Baby Blanket and am about to start weaving them together with kitchener stitch. My question is...
