This is what EZ has to say in answering a question in her "Knitting Workshop". These videos are so great. Meg (Swanson) is off camera talking to her, correcting her...

Maybe I'm just not getting it... I did after all get a CAPTCHA addition problem wrong earlier :-).

I picked up some EZ and Meg Swanson DVDs at the library and have started to watch some of them. All I can say is "wow!" I feel like I'm in kindergarten.

Wikipedia actually says that EZ was the first knitter to be honored with a full obituary in The New York Times. Here it is in all of its glory:

Matt is reading "Independent People" by Icelandic Nobel Laureate Halldor Laxness - something that interested him as we were driving around Iceland a few weeks ago.

Okay, so it's not like I haven't heard of Elizabeth Zimmerman - I know the name and I even know what everyone means when they say refer to "EZ".

So I just finished this chihuahua sweater and got Kenneth to model it for me.

Okay, so I've been doing this for at least a couple years - knitting sweaters in the round and then grafting the sleeves (also worked in the round) to the body as part of the finishing.

So I got this free subscription somehow and the issue I just got (September 2009) includes a Fall Guide to Style.

Here's a shot of two hats I did on the Lopi light yarn.
