So I'm trying to copy as much as I can the pattern of a skull cap type hat I got in Nepal back in the early 90s.

When I was in Nepal with the Peace Corps back in the early 90s, I picked up a couple of great knitted caps that had flat tops.

I know it's coming up on the holidays and everyone's probably really busy with projects and gifts, but I thought I'd toss around the idea of a group project...

I posted a couple of days ago about finishing up with this blanket, which I'm now calling the LUNA blanket. But the pic didn't show much detail.

Finished this one up a couple months ago for my godson Asher who lives in D.C. This pattern I've used a couple times and what I love about it is there's no sewing involved.

Found this in The New York Times (Aug. 15, 1935; p. 20):

Well, Another friend of mine (in beautiful Asheville NC) had a baby a few weeks ago and the moment I found out, I cast on to knit a new blanket, one I hadn't tried before.
