So I finally arrived back at home in Texas...Im glad to be home and of course to see my kitty and my friends.

$6,000 US Dollars...that is how much money I have spent since August 1, 2009 when I arrived in Germany.

So I couldn’t wait on the mail anymore (it's taking FOREVER!!!) and I had 200g of fiber sitting there just DYING to be spun.

So I ordered my first drop spindle...I know it's not really news but I am excited about it because it comes with wool roving!!!

Ok so I saw Bucks post about buying a Kromski Symphony wheel and that kind of got me curious onto spinning.

Well, here it is, in all its glory, it is still blocking right now but I couldnt wait to post pictures!! Knitting a sweater wasn't as bad as I thought, just took a long time!

Does anybody know a good stitch for seaming up a sweater? I know the standard is to use the “mattress stitch” or the invisible one…whatever it’s called.

Ok so I finished the torso part of my sweater, and went to block it, well, when I pulled it out of the water and squeezed all the water out the sweater is now BIGGER than what it needs to be!

So I think I’m addicted to either yarn or shopping or both.

So, I got to the point on the front part of my sweater where I have to bind off 11 of the center stitches for the neck...and now, im stuck.
