I am now well into the body of my handspun sweater. Here are pictures of the body and arm steek in progress. Next up will be the neck steek in another 5 inches.

Is there a problem with the site today? I am unable to upload images or files.

I just downloaded a fun knitting screensaver; check it out:

Well, I knit up about 12 inches of my sweater and realized to my dismay that I was not happy with the way it was coming out.

For my spin kin out there a tip: Many times I have tried to concoct a spinning oil to spray onto my fleece to cause the fibers to slip more easily and evenly as I spin.

Well, I have spun up enough of my three colors to begin knitting my sweater which is named for the style of Native American pottery from which I have adapted the diamond pattern.

Here is the orchid yarn starting to fill up the spool. I'm waiting for delivery of some Cheviot fleece from Pennsylvania so that I can spin the white yarn. I've already spun up some of the black.

I am starting to spin up the yarn for a sweater that will be my first attempt at steeking. I will use three colors: Orchid, White and Black.

If this works, please forgive the test- trying to figure out how to get a picture onto MWK. Thanks,

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll use my best judgement when the moment comes and hope for the best!
