At first I used plastic ring markers but found them tacky. So I bought some very nice sterling silver bejewelled markers online- very pretty but they fall apart at the jewel.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Anyone remember the stocking caps from the 1970's that were so long you could wrap them around your neck as a scarf while wearing them as hats?

As you can see, blizzards are conducive to knitting. Soon I'll have to pause and spin up some more yarn to finish up.

Sweater blocker, or mideval torture device?- you decide.

I cut the arm and neck steeks yesterday with a little encouragement from my Bud. The sweater did not explode, nor did the knitting police come and haul me off.

I am now ready for the big moment- cannot afford to make a misteek.

I've just received a wooly board that I ordered from Camilla Valley Farm. It arrives with assembly required and at the time I opened the package I was too sleep deprived to handle it.

Taking a break from the spinning for a minute for a quick post. A few pics of yarn making- I'm working on the grey; next the black, then back to the needles.
