So, I have not been knitting much these days. I pick the few projects up for a bit and am just not into them so they promptly get put back down. I get irritated with myself when I get in this state and work at fighting off the startitis that starts to edge in.
I had a post Christmas knitting season goal of finishing up a batch of unfinished items.
So, I've been working on this "Dragonfly" 75% Polworth 25% Silk blend that I purchased from Huckleberry Knits. I've been spinning it out quite thinly in hopes of making a three ply. It's been slow going and occasionally I feel some impatience at my slowness until the part that is just enjoying the process and finding peace in the treadling of my wheel takes back over and just enjoys it.
Yep, it's happened. And I know at this point that many of the readers that got drawn in by the title are shaking their heads in sympathy or are just plain confused... Fiber Chlamydia? Yes, that's right, fiber clap is here. Moths... More specifically, their little crawling larvae.
