Well, we went to the 2nd Annual Carolina Fiber Fest (part of the Got to Be NC Ag Festival). Needless to say I bought no new yarn.

This weekend I am taking my family to Raleigh, NC to the 2nd annual Carolina Fiber Festival. It is part of the Got to Be NC Agriculture Festival at the NC Fairgrounds.

Our visit last Thursday to the yarn shop was a success! I think everyone left with something to start a new project.

Tonight is our monthly meeting for my Knitting Group. We are going on our first field trip to the LYS, Southern Purls.

So my aunt's birthday was this past week. At her party she saw me knitting this dishcloth and admired it greatly.

Has anyone bought wool from Ebay? There is some great yarn listed from China, but I am afraid.

Off the needles. I made a washcloth for a friend who is in to Peanuts cartoons. Found this Woodstock washcloth pattern and did it up in about 3 days (about an hour a day knitting).

I finally finished my son's socks. They are orange slipper socks with a short row heel. I debated about the heel for a long time, that is why it took so long to complete.

Leaving this afternoon to go to the Outer Banks. Will be making a brief stop for my wife to look at some Dachshund pups for my kids.

Another weekend has gone by and I did not get any time to knit. Chores and life just seemed to take over.
