Just a short note about our first retreat. I have been planning in between working (school just started back and we are having our second 3 day weekend). We only have about 3-4 spaces left, and need to go ahead and get them filled so that I can give final numbers to the retreat center (book another cabin) and to our donors.

For those of you who may skip the top of the page, we only have 5-7 places left to comfortably place men at our Retreat. Let me know if you are interested or check the entry at the top of the page!

Several months ago I was asked to teach beginning knitting at a new craft store in my area. The class went well and I was hoping to get a few gigs there occasionally.

Hey, Just wanted to show you guys some of what has been going on with me. I have been trying to publish patterns that I have been working on. I just got the most recent one uploaded to Ravelry.

Just in case you did not see at the top of the page , I have posted new info at Ravelry for the South East Men's Knitting Retreat.

Just posted more info at the Men's Knitting Retreat Group (SEMKR Forum) on Ravelry. Has price breakdown and links. PM me here or on Rav.

Just a couple of pictures of my latest FO for my daughter. I call it the Rainbow Ribbon Shrug.

This weekend I took my family to Beech Springs Alpacas. The owner, Kate Brown, was very kind and wonderful with the kids. My son wanted to play "Tag" with the alpacas (see picture below).

So on Monday I spoke on designing at a new LYS, Yarn Tree Studio, in Raleigh NC. The shop has a great selection and the owner, Lynn is great hostess.

Hey guys, My knitting article is out. For those of you who wish to read it is on Facebook at Front Porch Living, the article is called "Hooked on a Hobby." Hope you will enjoy reading it.
