It's been a while since I've had a completed project to share.

I just couldn't wait for actual lessons with someone with experience. I have a good understanding of the concept of spinning, how a wheel works, flyer and bobbin assemblies, drafting, etc.

My next door neighbor bought me a spinning wheel. It's a Dutch wheel called Edammertje, one I've never heard of.

Here it is! Finally! I knit this back in October (at least) and I just sewed up the shoulder seams on Sunday and put the buttons on tonight.

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of meeting designer Anne Hanson who came to do a trunk show at Trumpet Hill, my favorite LYS.

Honestly, by Friday it was beginning to look like the lost weekend thanks to Mother Nature.

I am going to the fair on Saturday to see this in person!
