Made in my latest fave stitch...with frogging the first several times to get the gauge right, I decided to milk it for what it's worth and make two very comfy squares in the same stitch.

Yesterday I crashed the bus trip to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. About 25 women in a bus, plus me. And the driver, of course.

Now that my socks are done (I added a few more pics and words), I've decided to scratch the itch and knit up my own Hemlock Ring Blanket.

Here they are at last! Is there any more to say? Yay!

Friday night I went to Third Friday in town...the artsy stores stay open till about 9, and offer free snacks and music, etc.

Here's the deal. My landlady has a job that has her trudging around in miserable weather trying to mess with a darned GPS.

Ok, so I've been in a lot of transition the past couple months. My apologies for not being around. While I think cables are delightful, my new best friend is lace.

This is a first for me, but I've been wanting to connect with other men who knit; maybe I'll start by telling a bit about my journey in knitting.
