Ahhhh ….this is the third time I am writing this. So this time I am writing it in Word so if something goes wrong I won’t have to write it any more… or just give up.

A knitting retreat could be fun to contemplate ... admittedly it is a long way from most but ... it has interest on it's side... Ancient Greece, 18 km beach, wonderful Turkish cuisine... and cheap...

Following MMario's info regarding a website selling a great variety of yarn from Turkey, RickeScott and I decided to investigate here in Istanbul.

I started this last week. Ricke took me to the Eminunu Wool Market where I found this lovely yarn.

I finished this project a month ago...my camera has been playing up ... not recharging properly, not turning on ... and then when it does turn on, my teaching partner seems a pic of me having sex...

Update: I did a 3 needle bind off ... without the binding off ... can you believe it... I was so focussed on not dropping stitches because my circular needles had a fault...

This little jacket I finished a few weeks ago. I finally got around to washing and drying it... and then posting it. It's turned out ok. Well the dog loves it...

In early January I was really excited about doing the challenge with everyone. I'm in quite good nick anyway but wanted to improve, that elusive 6 pack was my goal.

Well I've made a bit of a start on the sweater, actually it's a 'walking jacket' sounds rather posh doesn't it.
