So it has been a while since I have done anything other than a hat or a scarf and it has been even longer since I have posted anything on MWK, but I recently came across the Rowan Dalesman book last week and was struck by two of the sweater vests in there. Since I have never made a sweater I am starting with the simpler Harrison sweater before I tackle the Fairbank.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I have been absent from the site for a while because I have devoted a lot more time to wind ensemble I play in and I have been playing more volleyball tournaments.

Is there any interest in doing a fall knit along, or is there one that I missed already planned?

I've been back in the states for about a month and in that month just about everything in my life has changed...some good, some bad.

i have finished my grade reports, graduation is over, and i have moved into my new place and my new office...all in the last week and a half.

A few of my colleagues have found me knitting during lunch breaks and while I administer tests in my classroom.

So I made you all gasp not too long ago when I announced I had no active knitting projects. That all ended today.

Hello, fellow knitters. I am starting a new lace project and I have no idea really how to interpret the pattern. There is one portion of a row that requires 4 yarn overs in succession.

While the hubby bear was sleeping this morning, I finished one of his Christmas presents - the Koolhas hat I mentioned in my post a few weeks ago.
