I keep seeing scarves like this in the stores.... I like it a lot, and it seems like a good way to use up a few loose ends of yarn, but how to attack it?

My mom's just requested a black & white scarf for Christmas.

Believe it or not, living in a suburb of LA, none of my LYSs carry Cascade...and I need some NOW! I'm increasingly frustrated with selections available (maybe it's my tastes growing up....?)

Hey guys-
A very dear friend just sent me some beautiful yarns in a couple of different shades of orange (my favorite color).

OK, the summer of scarf making is coming to an end, and I've gotta do some blocking...

Ok, so I finished and bound off my alpaca scarf... went on to other projects... Now I'm looking at it, and wishing it were about another foot longer.

Enough people have asked me about the colors etc, so here's what I've got....

Still need to block out the ends, but I love it. Was worth all the work to track down the yarn.
