Cabled Scarf

Here is my latest scarf - it's a variation of the Irish Hiking Scarf - more cables. I like the way the two cables in the middle overlap each other.

Survivng Ike

Hi all - greetings from Houston. I was very lucky with the Hurricane - it went right though the city but I didn't get any flooding or damage - parts of the city were really hit hard.

Spiral Scarf

I just finished this spiral scarf. Its all done with short rows - my first attempt at wrapping and turning. It turned out to knit up pretty quick.

My So Called Scarf Snafu

Ecuador Stash

I just got back from Ecuador and we went to the Cotacachi region where they are famous for textiles made out of Alpaca. I was able to find hand spun, hand dyed Alpaca yarn and the prices were crazy.

Traveler Update

Well I took all of your sage advise and traveling was a breeze. I brought plastic needles, no scizzors. I had it in my briefcase and no one even looked.

Cable Scarf

I was stuck at home this weekend and finished my first cable scarf. The original pattern called for three cables but I expanded it to 5. I also added some ribbing to the top and bottom.

Baby Sweater

Since I found this web site you guys having me knitting again with a passion. I finished this baby sweater this weekend. It's pretty simple so it knits up quickly.
