Well, leaving for vacation this evening and the countpane is edgeless. I stitched on the triangles to fill in the gaps, but still feel like it needs a border.

As I approach the end of a project, I start planning the next because I know that dead time between projects is not good for my mental health.

About 30 minutes ago, I stitched together the last of the spirals. Now I'll weave in the loose ends and begin knitting and blocking the small triangles to fill in the gaps around the edge.

Spirals done. Filler squares done. Ready to stitch them all together and discovered that my filler squares are too big!!

I just unpinned the last of the large spirals, so now have the 35 I need plus the extra 9 of a different dye lot.

Still knitting the spirals, but decided to start blocking. I bought a piece of rigid foam insulation and it seems to be working great.

When I saw this spiral counterpane blanket on the knityousucka blog
( http://knityousucka.blogspot.com/2006/03/knitted-spiral-counterpane-blanket.html),

Does anyone have a pattern for a gym/duffle bag? Need an interim project to fill my time and my old gym bag is due to be replaced.
