Uggh!!!! Is the BSJ really supposed to be this difficult? This is the second time that I have done this pattern and, again, I'm ripping things out for the fourth time.

Hey guys! I'm on the hunt for a fair isle gansey pattern with a gusset. I have the general idea of how to do this on my own but I would really like a guide for my first attempt.

Dudes: I'm so excited. My first ever sweater is almost finished. Well actually, it's my third sweater. The first was an utter failure and is in a pile in the back of a closet somewhere.

So, I just got a "Special Offer" for Vogue Knitting in the mail today. Is it worth it? Should I subscribe?

So, my gansey is almost finished and I'm thinking about how to block it. Since the sleeves were knit from the shoulders out, it is basically a drop shoulder sweater.

Dudes of Knitting: How are things? It's flipping cold here; a lovely 13 degrees this morning. Anyway, have any of you done the Carlito Cardigan or know someone who is?

I was very cranky last night. I had no knitting time at all because I had to get started on the Holiday baking. I'm even more cranky because I have to do the same tonight.

Dudes of Knitting: I'm working on a sweater that calls for a provisional cast off, in contrasting yarn for the gusset stitches. I've googled it and all I get is provisional cast on.
