After 14 months I've finished the Wedding Peacock wedding veil design from MMario.

You may remember I posted a pic of a red Valentine's Day shawl I made for my wife. She loved it but wished it had a ruffly edge.

Well it's been just over a year since I started this wedding veil. And, my daughter's had 3 new boyfriends since then so I guess there's no hurry.

I have seen a pattern for a log cabin (dishcloth I believe) that starts out with the traditional square but then each of the subsequent "rectangles" are more pie slice shaped so that it forms a swirl

I started with yarn and a needle size that would have made this a shawl for an elephant!

The hat that I just posted was the first non-lace thing I've done in a long while. It was knit in the round and done completely in stockinette. My tension is awful!

No - not flap hat - flapper - think 1920's. I designed this for my wife but she hasn't been around when I had the camera out so my dog (Maggie) modeled it. It looks MUCH better on my wife!

Actually it's the Wisps of Smoke Ring. I made it as a cowl for my daughter but had nothing here to pose it on.

My mother lives in south TX and really can't wear anything I can knit so she asked me to knit a tablecloth for her.

Thanks to whomever it was on this group that asked the question about a "basket" stitch and also to whomever posted the pattern.
