I have purchased yarns in the past from Knitivity (http://www.knitivity.com/).

I finished the Charlotte's Web Shawl from Knits from a Painter's Palette. I didn't use Koigu as the pattern called for, but Noro Kureyon Sock yarn on size US-6 needles.

I finished this in April, but I finally got the camera, computer and knitting together today.
Using a fingering weight yarn, and larger needles turned this doily into a tablecloth.

My LYS project instigator (lookie over here, see what we got, and the yarn too...she even jokingly calls herself the fiber pimp) showed me a new book they are carrying, it's called Knitting for Him.

Reporting back on the two at once sock class, as I promised BuduR:

I was actually looking for a pattern of the coat worn by Lyra in the movie 'The Golden Compass' but when I googled 'Lyra knit coat' I came to this page:

My ravelry invite arrived while I was sleeping last night...Santa is a bit early this year! I'm also scenter there.

Well, this weekend was the kickoff for Atlanta's Yarn Shop Hop - visit 10 yarn stores in 10 days, and be entered in a drawing for 1000$ worth of yarn or related paraphenalia, and other prizes.

Well, I'm off to class...we're making the Koolhaas hat tonight, I already have the brim partially done, but I wanted assistance available with the intense cable pattern if need be.

At Knit Night at my LYS yesterday I worked some more on the Irish Hiking Scarf. Now that I have the repeats memorized, it is an easy project. I got another 4" done.
