hey guys. i know there are many of you here who knit lace, and i'm wondering if there's a way i can get knit a lace pattern that'll give me vertical columns in this style:

thought i'd share w/ you boys (and gals) some stuff i've been working on. here goes

1. Noro Striped Scarf (noro kureyon color 213 and silk garden color 47)

1. red heart soft yarn = 17sts x 23rows on sz8 needles
2. vanna's choice =16sts x 22 rows on sz9 needles

1. the pattern i'm looking for is from Dale of Norway...it's the damask pillow. I've looked high and low, and even checked a few yarn shops (one still having to get back to me).

So...I got around to knitting my new dog a toy (mostly cause i was bored)... was thinking of making him an octopuss, but what came out was more squid-like.

i had a lot of fun making these, though the pattern is sometimes confusing

i mistake rib (row1: knit row2: k1p1) in hopes that the scarf would roll....but it does
