True, Christmas isn't exactly around the corner but this project might take some time to finish, so I thought I'd share it well in advance. And we don't want Mrs Santa to have to be pregnant longer than necessary, do we? Good thing her baby is born fully clothed with a hat to make it easier to give birth!

I want this car!

It has happened again, for the third time! First I myself matched the kitchen curtains at work wearing a new sweater, a few months later a colleague matched the curtains in her office wearing a cardigan I had knitted for her, and yesterday another colleague found herself matching the wallpaper in her new cardigan!

I've been invited to lead a couple of knitting workshops, first twined knitting in Stockholm and next month lace knitting in Uppsala, and am having a lot of fun preparing material and swatches.

Not to mention sort of relearning the techniques (studying and finding the words for what my hands do more or less automatically by now) to be able to explain them well.

I'm helping a colleague adding sleeves to the cardigan she is knitting.

Yesterday a new way to block hats occurred to me, and since it worked I thought I'd share it with you. (A new way to me, that is - others may have had the same idea, of course!)
