Here is a picture of my scarf so far. The picture is a little dark (photography is not my forte). I merged a cable pattern I liked with a traditional tube scarf.

Well, having a baby certainly slowed down my knitting--at least for a while. But now that we've had some cold mornings, I've pulled out my stash and started working again.

Thumper says: "Dad made me this great hat. He even dyed the yarn himself with green Kool-Aid!"

Here is Thumper posing in his stripy red sweater. I made it out of some Trekking sock yarn.

So, I dressed Thumper this morning, and the first thing my wife asked is what we were planning to do at the commune all day. I think co-op is a little more gentle.

Thumper arrived early Saturday morning and is a little peanut. My in-hospital project was a pair of supersoft newborn pants in Knitpicks Crayon.

Well, I haven't written in a while, but that doesn't mean my needles haven't been clacking. Or clicking. Or whatever it is needles do. Also, my sewing machine has been keeping up.

So,
My wife and I are planning to see Harry Potter in the cheap theater this afternoon, and I said I wanted to go home to get my knitting, but she's forbidding me!!!

I haven't posted for a while, but I've actually been working on a bunch of projects. This one is a hat and mittens for our friends' 9-month old.

Here is the finished poncho (modeled by my beautiful wife). As per her request, it has arm holes, so that she can wear it at work and still type, etc.
