I have been very productive in the past few months. Here is one of my latest hats at less than 50 grams of yarn.

Cannot decide on my next project

I am finishing up another simple lace scarf for a friend of my son. It is a lovely light grey fibre 100% mink. I should be done this weekend. Then I am either going to do Jared Flood's Rock Island Shawl or his Timberline Shawl Collared Cabled Cardigan. What does the group think and which would you like to see first.

Completed socks and a little baby shower gift

So here is the set of completed sock I took a couple pics so you could see it from different angles. Also I had to whip up something for a baby shower the other day and I made some little head bands in crochet for a coworker. Use some Malabrigo lace I had simple but I think her baby girl will look lovely in these.

Brethren Sock #1 Finished

What a great learning experience this was. Here is the finished sock. Now, on to the next one! I took a chance and estimated how much extra yarn I would have and decided to double up on the strands on the toe so that it is reinforced. I had enough, thankfully.

Brethren Socks

Well, I took the plunge and began the Brethren Socks. After studying the pattern and trying to visualize how things would be different using magic loop knitting, I decided to just forge ahead and see what mischief might befall me. After a couple false starts and a few hiccups along the way, as well as encouraging words from Crafty Andy, things went along pretty smoothly.

April is for Lace

The Scarf is a Lace scarf that is really for men to wear. I am sure women will find it appealing as well.

Finished socks / Next project

As part of a "March Madness" challenge on a Ravelry group I belong to, we were to pick 3 projects to accomplish during March. Mine were: 1) The Skype beanie. 2) Finish the "Spiraling Purl" socks. 3) Begin a new project with the 2nd skein of yarn used for the socks.

Mickey's Sweater

This is my long-time friend Mickey, wearing the birthday present I knitted for him. Simply Red Heart Knitting Worsted, and a vintage pattern. Being that Mickey is quite short, I had to subtract some length from the body and sleeves. It was an easy knit nonetheless.
