It's been almost 3 months since I've been here, but after getting acclimated with school and returning back to California from my Drum Corps. tour I finally have some time to knit again!

I've been getting back into knitting in the past few months. It was prompted by a visit from one of my older sisters, who'd taught me to knit when I was 10.

Here it is, only 2 days in the making. A scarf for a friend I knew was retiring, but the retirement came sooner than expected.

Maybe it was the oppressing summer heat, or maybe it was simply a lack of inspiration... whatever the reason, I didn't really pick up my knitting needles at all in June or July.
