I do not crochet. Heard that the granny square is one of the very easy and fast way to produce items when crocheting. Can you think of anything like that when knitting?
Thanks in advance.

All right. I have not forgotten anyone. I will just post a couple of updated photos in my quest for perfeect handspun sock yarn. I am planning a full description of this saga on my blog, but right now third skein is not all plied, so here are just 1# and #2.

I was doing a gauge swatch last night and the instructions specified stockinette stitch. I had already purled half a row where it should have been knit, so there was this weird rib where it should not have been. Watching TV then, I purled an entire row that should have been knit. I guess I just get into things and forget where I am.

Has anyone heard from Mill?
He used to be active with the "Knitting Mill"... But I've sent messages here and on ravelry...and no answer..l
Just hoping he's OK..

Guys can you help me find a pattern for a reglan sweater? Top down. Just lookin for a basic pattern with come cabling.
Thanks Richard.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the button that you could click on for the members list? I haven't used it for ages and couldn't find it when I needed it tonight. In the meantime, does anyone have any fibre contacts in Barcelona? I will be there for a few days in early September and would love to connect with local men knitters and spinners. Thanks for any suggestions - Phil

Don't you hate it when you COULD be knitting?
Well, I'm looking for a hand-knit instruction for this:

A friend just adopted a newborn baby, so I thought I'd knit something for him. I chose this cute drawstring kimono from a pattern search on Ravelry. The day I heard about the baby, we were taking our school kids on a field trip and I knew I'd have some time to cast on and get started, so I popped out quickly to my LYS, but they weren't open yet.
