Favorite Team Logo, Fair Isle style

I am knitting in the round a mohawk beanie for my friend, who's going through chemo, with her favorite football team's logo (GBPackers) on both sides (left/right).
I am fairly good at intarsia on a flat (back and forth) piece. But as this is a beanie for her soon to be bald head, I must put it together in the round.

Big and Tall Sweater (4XLT)

I am looking for suggestions or a pattern to knit myself a sweater. As the subject suggests, the sweater needs to be sized 4XLT. I have searched Ravelry and other sites but I come up with nada. I am not skilled enough to take a pattern and rewrite it to adjust for size. I'd love a hoodie. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't be the first to have this problem, can I?

Facebook Group

I hope I'm posting in the correct area. Can anyone tell me about the Facebook group? Over the last month I've sent a couple requests to join the group, but it never gets approved. Is the group still an open group?
It has been at least a couple weeks since my last request.

Thank you

lap afghans for older parents

I thought I'd try my first knitted Christmas presents - one lap afghan each for my Mom and Dad. Never having done anything this large before, there are questions. As a beginner, I also want to stay inside a comfort or "safety" zone.

FO: Fingerless gloves for my dad

Just finished these gloves for my dad's birthday. Actually, 15 minutes before the Post Office closed, so I was able to get them in just in time to arrive Friday, upon which day he will be 79.

S1pwise Help

Could someone help me with a technique issue.
I am knitting a Matthew Scarf and every w/s row starts with a s1pwise. My problem is if I make a mistake and have to unpick my stitches and reknit the s1pwise, I end up with a big ugly loop of yarn at the beginning of the row. I have tried twisting the s1pwis stitch before I reknit the s1pwise, but it is noticeable. Any help would be appreciated.
