I'm using this product for the first time. Evidently rinsing isn't necessary which is nice if your concerned about conserving water or saving time. Aquae is the scent I purchased and it is very nice. I'll get back with you once the piece comes off the blocking rack (my 2nd floor hallway).

One of the more recent projects I've made is another "toy." I like how portable they are to work on since they're mostly done in small parts. And I've become quite fond of the piecing together stage for some reason. Mattress stitch is our friend, after all!

Look for it. Designed by yours truly!

Well, actually I've really just been up to knitting. Some of it's not all that good, but some of it is decent if I do say so myself. All most all of it recently has been Christmas knitting. Yeah yeah, I'm not normally this prepared but I decided to try giving preparedness a try this year.

It really does say so much about who I am and the things that matter to me. The beat up wooden chair I knit in, my knit teddy bears, my boots in the corner, crazy Mario in the window....and sunlight.
As bad as things are, you won't see the light if you don't look up. :)

Another posting but I promise this will be the last for a while. Lately, I've been tempted to learn to knit hats, so after finding a simple pattern, I decided to go for it. This was made with some stash yarn I had when I first started knitting and didn't want to invest a lot on something I didn't know if I would like.
Okay, I'll be quiet now.

Well, there wasn't really a vacation involved but there was lots of kitting. I sort of had a mission to work with every kind of non-wool natural fiber I could get my hands while experimenting with different lace stitches culminating in a much more ambitious shawl project of my own design. So, I guess, these are my studies for my next big project.

A pattern I call "Row House Windows". It's a blend of garter stitch and the basic fagoting stitch. It is for my aunt and uncle in New Jersey, who used to live in South Philly. The photo didn't turn out well, and it looks like my scanner has moisture in it. :-( Still, the scanned picture is pretty good.
It is Berroco Remix (all recycled fiber) on size 8 needles.

This is my first blog post. I've been knitting up a bunch of scarves for a craft festival this weekend. Here are some pics.

My partner's niece posted this on Facebook earlier today. I don't know whether or not she's a knitter, but it's hilarious! Although it does show stereotypes.... :-D
