Thank all of you for your excellent advice on circular vs. straight needles. Especially about the ergonomic aspect and comfort.

I am making an afghan that is 20% wool and 80% acrylic. It will be 35, 10x10" squares sewn together. Do you think that blocking is advisable? I read once that you shouldn't block acrylic.

I looked at my notes and saw that I started these gloves last December 2010 - almost a year. I'm so excited to finish these! My first pair of gloves.
Thanks for all the advice!

Hey guys...I forgot to mention in my post the other day about the men's spring knitting retreat.

Hey gents! It's been a while since I've posted, but looking over recent entries I've noticed it's sort of a theme.

How about this, I'll try to log on atleast once during my week off? I will also do the same for my ravelry page since I noticed today that I have 30 some frigg'n messages.

I visited a LYS near where I live and the owner told me that "straight" knitting needles are steadily being replaced with circular needles with separately sold different exchangeable points.

Hi Everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted anything, so hello to everyone!

I'm throwing caution to the wind and testing the sweater curse by knitting the Joukahainen sweater for my partner.

I'm looking for some, and think it'd be kinda cool to buy from somebody here.
