A Simple Christmas Baby Blanket

Hello Guys,
I hope you are all getting your projects finished in time for Christmas. I still have a couple more to go, but got a baby blanket made for my bosses new baby girl. It's just simple washcloth design done on a bigger scale with 55% acrylic and 45% cotton. To even out the stitches, I threw it in the washer and then the dryer and it came out softer than when it went in.

Using up some stash

Here is a project I just started to use up 4 skeins of an Italian wool form Vernasco. The product is called I have two of each color way and I am alternating them every two rows in a seed stitch. I love the nubby texture. It will be a stocking stuffer for some lucky family member this Christmas.

Help with pattern

Hi Guys,
I found a Lace Poncho that I would like to make as a Christmas gift. I am stumped by the directions and it says it's an easy pattern.

I understand the pattern stitch, but in the Poncho pattern, I don't see where you use rows 3-6 from the pattern stitch. What am I missing? Can anyone help me? I'm sure I've overlooked something simple.

Hilarious "How to Knit" video - from Dan

It's a bit long and you can skip through parts of it, but it's pretty hilarious.

Berroco Seduce or Seduce Colors - Anyone use this fiber before?

Looking at making a cool, light, ladies pullover Hoodie for summer wear. (Clearing throat) - No not for me... for a friend of mine... LOL. I plan on knitting this on my own - freelance - no pattern (God I must be nuts). I have a photo of the Hoodie I plan to knit - front and back. The pattern was offered from a knitting/fiber shop located in Wisconsin.

Finished second cowl

Tonight I bound off my second cowl. This one is to be a Christmas present. I used the same pattern I used with the first cowl I completed a week or so ago, the "Purl Ridge Scarf" cowl pattern by Stephen West.

Rock Island designed by Jared Flood (Brooklyntweed)

Just off the blocking wires is this triangular shawl designed by Jared Flood. I used 4 strands of ColourMart cashmere/linen 40/60 2/62NM very fine laceweight, the colour is lapisazzulo and the needle was a 4mm circular with wooden tips. The size was 127cm x 94cm (50" x 37") The edging was knitted first and then stitches picked up to knit the body of the shawl.

Lace Wrap

Attached is a photo of Lace Wrap blocking. Pattern is from Vogue Knitting Winter 09/10. I used three colorways of Indigo Moon Handpainted Sock Yarn. The repeats are all the same size (photo skews perspective a bit). It's 22" x 78". The pattern has a smaller rectangle (not pictured--still knitting it) that is sewn perpendicular to one end, making an "L".
