I need a ten step program for buying yarn. The closest yarn shop to me has gone out of business. So, that means over the past two weeks I have been buying yarn. Lots of yarn.

I was sooo looking forward to starting on the felted christmas stocking after I finished my mittens, but I just looked at the pattern (having never felted anything before) and realized I must pull the

KAL: I have most of the first clog done. I'm splitting my knitting time between this project and another (more on that in a month or three).

Funny that this is my first blog post here, been here for awhile. Anyhoo, I literally just (as in yesterday) finished my kal Cat Bordhi felted boots.

Well here's Lisa in her linen scarf. She loves it! After blocking it I was so hyped on the way the linen turned out I went to the LYS and splurged on some lovely yellow Euroflax by Louet Sales.

I'm having a hard time understanding the pattern

So, I understand the practicality of super wash but it is just not fun to work with. It doesn't stretch or give and, personally, it just doesn't feel like wool, sorta like cotton. ACK!
