Struggling to get the bf sweater done for christmas but I have managed to make 3 hats and working on a fourth which he has said he would like -tg.

I needed a quick final Christmas present for a friend that doesn't really like to wear wool. I found this, the Victorian Spring Scarf, it's in an Aran weight mostly viscose yarn.

Thanks everyone who made a kind request for these. I'll post them shortly. They were ridiculously easy.

Several months ago, I saw a copy of a tag someone worked up to give with their handknit, woolen gifts for instructing the receiver how to care for, launder, etc. the gift.

...and it's a very good thing!!!

I just published a pattern for the first time on Ravelry and made it a free download. You will find it if you look me up; I'm "Asplund" there too.

Here it is! Finally! I knit this back in October (at least) and I just sewed up the shoulder seams on Sunday and put the buttons on tonight.
