Has anyone done a sweater using shaped steeks as described in the book Knitting in the Old Way? I wonder whether the sleeves would hang correctly and if there would be excess fabric under the arms?

I am making this scarf and am not sure how long to make it. Being somewhat dressy, I'm not sure if the normal long length would be appropriate. I'm not yet sure who I'm going to give it to.

Hello everyone! Great to see that there is a website devoted to bringing men who knit together! I have just started a new knitting website/blog in the last few days and would appreciate any feedback!

I ran across an old post by Jesse (Kiwiknitter) about changing MWK theme settings but cannot find it. Does this option still exist on the site?

Ok. I've finally finished my first sweater. I think I've posted a picture on my blog. Here's hoping!

Quite a nice thing happened today: I delivered my second set of Christmas stockings (3 of them) and not only did she pay with pleasure the balance, she tipped me $50. She LOVED the stockings.

I finished up this lovely necklace from a Sivia Harding kit. It was really easy to do this beaded knitting.
