I've been working on a cabled tie for a few days now. I've been knitting it up and frogging it numerous times trying to come up with something I like.

I am about to start my first pair of socks! I know!! I have been knitting for almost 4 years and have yet to attempt socks, much less a hat or sweater!

I've started working on Mom's sweater again. That sigh you hear is not the early spring's balmy breezes, but the weight of guilt being lifted off my shoulders.

The first time I saw continental knitting, I thought "you have got to be kidding." Being right handed, I couldn't deal with having to work with my left hand.

I just clicked through on an add for a pre-order on a book called "Guy Knits"

I almost frogged this today. I had started it sometime ago and wanted to frog it out in favor of making an aran sweater done in the round.

This was done on commission and the client liked it but not on her. I thought it was fun but maybe a bit too much for a middle aged women in the midwest.
