I'm working on a sweater. I just cut the steeks and bound off the shoulders. I knit up the neck band and was not happy with it, so I frogged it back and redid it.

I have a regular blog that I post to. I haven't posted anything here in quite a while though. My other blog is www.knits4bears.blogspot.com if you are interested in reading it.

Scandinavian Knitting Designs by Pauline Chatterton; 1977; soft cover; 264 pages; out of print.

I absolutely love my new Options Harmony interchangeable set from KnitPicks.com!! I am working the basketweave scarf from KnittingDaily.com in Patons SWS Natural Earth. Yeah, I know!

I love to drink hot tea while I knit, so for me this is not off-topic, but for others, it most likely is.

I'm sending this hat to a friend of mine who's requested some hats. It's the ski hat from Son of Stitch 'N Bitch. Worked flat. I used some old DK weight yarn I had from Anny Blatt.

I know it might look like I've been knitting up a storm....but I won't be posting anything new on here for a while. I'm working on an Aran Afghan that will take a bit of time.

Every time I check this web site, I am amazed to see more new guys signed up and either contributing or lurking.
Well I finished the Cobblstone sweater three days ago,and am quite pleased with it. The front placket looks great.

attached are two charts - one of a pattern as found in written instructions, the second re-written to make a lot more sense to me.
