I thought I'd post an update for the Liesel Scarf that I'm knitting for my mother.

For those of you in the UK today is the last day of term, phew!!! I have been so tired I have not even picked up my needles for 3 days.

so close - but close doesn't count!

I am on row 147 of 154 rows - in fact, over half done with row 147...

and I just ran out of yarn from the skein I was using.

I just got my Queen Anne's Lace Shawl #2 blocked. So my Christmas knitting is now complete.

at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN will be on the 16 & 17 February.

Okay, she obviously does because she published "Son of Stitch'n Bitch", there are pictures of men knitting at Stitch'n Bitch groups in her books, there's that guy on the cover of "Stitch'n Bitch Natio

Anyone live in a city with a subway of some sort? If you do you find people look at you a lot?

OK, I'm going to start hats soon. Most patterns I've found say knit on circulars and when you start decreasing, you switch to dpn at some point.

I would like to know about silk worms......I'm about thinking about getting some silk worms and making my own silk...... if there's someone out there know any good resources please let me know....

Does anyone know where I can get some patterns for men's kilt hose?
