If I don't have enough projects that I'm working on, I've begun learning a new (new to me) technique.
For some reason, I've always been extremely apprehensive about Illusion/Shadow knitting.

I finished this 3 days ago and finally got some pics taken. I haven't measured it and I'm not quite satisfied with the fringe (one of my very weak points).

I am a Harry Potter Fan, and most likely because of the Houses. I know I would have enjoyed being in such a school.

I finally got around to blocking the shawl I posted recently. There is a detail of the point attached.

Has anyone done anything with the Walker Treasury Project?

Hey all,

This is a shawl I knitted along with the EZasPi Yahoo Group.

This was a fun project and it has been finished. I actually finished the project with a half double crochet edge. It looks fantastic. I hope you get to see it in the dark, thanks for stopping by.

Start: 15th September 2007
Finish: 17th October 2007
Yarn: Sheepaints MariSilk (70% silk, 30% seacell), "Elvegrass"
Needles: Addi Lace, 3.5 mm - 80 cm (US#4 - 32")
Pattern: Swallowtail Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark from Interweave Knits Fall 2006
The cocoon has hatched, and out came a beautiful Swallowtail.
