I've seen several books on men's sweaters and all of them are well-made and classic, but most of them bore me. I want more variation than classic styles and different techniques and patterns.

I taught myself English over 40 years ago and since then I developed severe arthritis all over my body but particularly in my shoulders, elbows and hands.

Well, a friend of mine wanted a "Green Lantern" super hero beanie, so I worked on one and it was a little too big (I thought).

Spanish Armada is being bound off. It's a slow process because it takes 13 stitches to bind off three stitches - and there are aboyt 670 stitches around.

I've noticed a phenomenon in my knitting of gifts.... does anyone else share this?

Fairly new to knitting here and definitely new to this site.

Anyone remember the stocking caps from the 1970's that were so long you could wrap them around your neck as a scarf while wearing them as hats?
